2017 Summer Team Quotas

Worlds
420 World Championships – is open to teams of all ages. Each nation is entitled to 7 boats, with 14 boats for the host nation.
420 Ladies World Championships – is open to teams of all ages. Each nation is entitled to 7 boats, with 14 boats for the host nation.
U17 420 World Championship – is restricted to athletes aged 16 and under at the end of 2017. Each 420 National Class Association is entitled to enter 6
boats (3 boats men or mixed and 3 boats ladies) and the host NCA entitled to 12 boats (6 boats men or mixed and 6 boats ladies).

All entries to the U17 World Championship will race in one fleet. If there are less than 30 entries the U17 fleet will be included in the respective of Worlds and Ladies fleet.

Europeans
420 Open European Championships – is open to teams of all ages. Each nation is entitled to 7 boats, with 14 boats for the host nation.
420 Ladies Open European Championships – is open to teams of all ages. Each nation is entitled to 7 boats, with 14 boats for the host nation.
U17 420 Open European Championship – is restricted to athletes aged 16 and under at the end of 2017. Each 420 National Class Association is entitled to
enter 6 boats (3 boats men or mixed and 3 boats ladies) and the host NCA entitled to 12 boats (6 boats men or mixed and 6 boats ladies).

Junior Europeans
Open – For the 420 Junior European Championships each NCA is entitled to 7 entries and the host nation is entitled to 14 entries. The 420 Junior
European Championship is for sailors who have not attained his or her 19th birthday before or on 31.12.2017
U17 – For the U17 420 Junior European Championships each NCA is entitled to 3 entries and the host nation is entitled to 6 entries. The U17 420 Junior
European Championship is for sailors who have not attained his or her 17th birthday before or on 31.12.2017
