Other information:
Between the Worlds in San Remo and the Euros in Balatonfured, there will be a fun option of spending 3 days in the Ligurian Alps, one hours drive North of San Remo, with a mountain guide. See http://www.walkingliguria.co.uk The sailors would stay in a mountain refuges and take part in activities such as canyoning, hiking, and climbing. Costs for food, accommodation and activities will be in the region of 100euros per day.

The guide organising this will be Lorenzo Gariano, who comes from Imperia, but lived in the UK for 30 years and speaks perfect English. A group of 420 families spent a day snow- shoeing with him in February and thought he and the mountain area were fabulous.

This will be bookable at your own risk, directly with the guide, who will create a group of GBR sailors. This should provide a complete change of scene between the two events.
